based on the graph, point Q states that when x = 0, y = 12
and (a) says QR is parallel to a line w eqn of y = -2x + 5. this means QR shares the same gradient of -2.
when x = 0,
12 = -2(0) + c
c = 12
hence the eqn of line QR is
y = -2x + 12
and (a) says QR is parallel to a line w eqn of y = -2x + 5. this means QR shares the same gradient of -2.
when x = 0,
12 = -2(0) + c
c = 12
hence the eqn of line QR is
y = -2x + 12
