21÷(9-6)=7

(b)
7×9=63

Let number of days be y.

9 x y = total number of pages

(6 x y) + 21 = total number of pages

So

9y = 6y + 21
3y = 21
y = 7

Number of days = 7

Number of pages = 9y = 9 x 7 = 63
