Shortest distance, c is perpendicular to AB. Use theorem Pythagoras.
1st find distance AC use
b/sin B = a/sin A
b = a. Sin B/Sin A
b = 5.6 (Sin 100.771)/Sin 28
b = 11.718 cm
Shortest distance = 11.718 x Sin 28
Shortest distance = 5.501 ≈ 5.5 cm
1st find distance AC use
b/sin B = a/sin A
