Area of Rectangle UWXY = 3 x 4 = 12 cm²
Area of Triangle UVZ = 1/2 x 1 x 3 = 1.5 cm²
Area of Triangle VWX = 1/2 x 1 x 3 = 1.5 cm²
Area of Triangle XYZ = 1/2 x 2 x 4 = 4 cm²
Area of Shaded Triangle BDF = 12 - 1.5 - 1.5 - 4 = 5 cm²
Area of Triangle UVZ = 1/2 x 1 x 3 = 1.5 cm²
Area of Triangle VWX = 1/2 x 1 x 3 = 1.5 cm²
Area of Triangle XYZ = 1/2 x 2 x 4 = 4 cm²
Area of Shaded Triangle BDF = 12 - 1.5 - 1.5 - 4 = 5 cm²
