The small triangle in the middle is an equilateral triangle because all rectangles are identical, thus the small triangle have equal sides.

For this the angles in the small triangle is 60° each

The big triangle is an isosceles triangle, same reason as above, identical rectangle, 2 equal sides.

Lets name the bottom of the big triangle, X,
Angle X = 360° - 60° - 90° - 90° = 120°

Angle z = (180° - 120°) / 2 (isosceles)
= 30°
