Area of shaded is 25 cm² also.
Being the area of the unshaded is 1/2 × base x height of the rectangle which = half the rectangle
So the shaded is also half the rectangle so 25 cm²

Shaded area = Unshaded area =25cm²
Area of unshaded triangle = 25
½ × 10 × Height = 25
Height = 5
∴Area of rectangle= 10×5=50
Unshaded area = 50-25 = 25cm².
½ × 10 × Height = 25
Height = 5
∴Area of rectangle= 10×5=50
Unshaded area = 50-25 = 25cm².
