I need an explanation pls help
The base of the top is 3²=9cm²
So the hight will be 45÷9=5cm
As the bottom container had been fully filled up. The hight is the bottom container's night = 8cm
So the total hight is
5+8=13cm (Ans)
See 1 Answer
Height of water level in top container
= Volume of water in top container ÷ area of base of top container
= 45 ÷ (3x3)
= 5 cm
Since u know that the bottom container is completely filled, the total height of water in the flask
= the height of bottom container + water level in the top container
= 8 + 5
= 12cm
Hope this helps you understand :)
