As it is written, Katie's weight is 3kg more than Belle's, which will be 28 kg.
Janice's weight is twice Katie's weight so it equals to 28kg × 2 = 56 kg

Janice's weight is also 14 y which equals to 56 kg. 56 divided by 14 will give you the answer to the term y =4.

A. To get Katie's weight in terms of y, divide her weight which is 28 kg by 4(which is y) and you will get 7. The answer is 7y.

B. Add up all their weight and you will get 109 kg
